Boiling salted water. Boil chicken. When cool, bone chicken, cut into 1 inch squares. Toast almonds, set aside. Return chicken to cooking pan with 1 T butter and citrus peel. Add salt, pepper, chicken broth and sour cream and stir and heat (do not boil). Cook noodles (fettuccine or spaghetti) drain, and add to chicken mixture. Serve with parsley and toasted slivered almonds. |
