| | Directions | | Brown ground beef in Dutch oven over medium high heat until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain well. Return beef to Dutch oven. Sprinkle seasonings and sauté one minute. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer over low heat for 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes. May put in slow cooker on low for 5 -6 hours or high 3-4 hours. Serve with toppings of choice: shredded cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips, salsa, avocado, chopped cilantro. |
