Directions
Combine potatoes, onions and bouillon in a large pot. Add just enough water to cover and cook until tender. Stir in cheese. Add 3 - 4 C. milk until soup reaches desired consistency. Top with bacon and/or chives.

You can also use an entire 6 inch jar of powdered Cremora instead of milk. Increase water. This will result in a different flavor. I use regular or skim milk. Soup freezes well.

-1 cup onions, diced
-2 teaspoons chicken bouillon cubes
-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
-3 - 4 cup milk
-6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
-1/2 cup chives, chopped
