In large pan, cook beef and onion until meat is browned; drain. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.
* Goes well with Betty Crocker cornbread.
1 pound Ground Beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cans pinto, kidney, or black beans, undrained (16 ounce cans)
1 can diced, halved, or whole tomatoes, undrained (14.5 ounce can)
1 can tomato paste (6 oz. can)
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons chili powder
