| Directions | Chop onions and boil until tender in small amount of water. Mash tomatoes with juice and add to onions and water; mix. Bring to low simmer and add American cheese until it breaks into small particles throughout. Leftovers will thicken in refrigerator and are fabulous eaten warm over buttered toast. |
