Cook beanst till bright green. Cool in ice water and drain.

Whisk vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.

Gradually add oil. Stir in onion and basil.

Toss beans with 1/2 of the dressing. then top beans with remaining dressing and cheese.

Serve chilled.

-2 pounds fresh green beans
-3 minced green onions
-2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
-1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
-1/2 teaspoon Salt
- pepper to taste
-1/4 cup olive oil
-2/3 cup chopped fresh basil
-2/3 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
