| | Directions | | Fry bacon, drain, put aside. Sauté onion, celery and mushrooms in 3 T. bacon fat. Dice potatoes, add celery, onion ,mushrooms and salt; cover with water and cook until tender. Add soups, clams, milk and crumbled bacon. Heat in a crock pot until serving. The longer the better. |
