Boil potatoes and onion in large soup pot until potatoes are fork tender. Pour off water. Cut cream cheese into smaller pieces and stir into potatoes and onions until melted. Add soup, butter and milk. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
We love this reheated as well as fresh!
