Simple Rice Pilaf - Recipe

This rice is similar to a risotto but so much easier to make. The chicken bouillon adds that touch of flavor to put plain white rice over the top.

Simple Rice Pilaf Recipe
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium high heat.

Add rice and stir until rice slightly browns.

Add water, salt, bouillon and rosemary, if desired.

Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15-20 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir. Let stand 5 minutes.

-1 1/2 cups long-grain rice
-3 cups water
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 chicken bouillon cube
-1/4 teaspoon rosemary (optional)
