| | Directions | | Soak water chestnuts in soy sauce for 30 minutes. Roll in sugar and then wrap in 1/2 or 1/3 strip of bacon. Secure with toothpick. Place on cookie sheet. Bake in 400° oven for about 20 minutes. If you want the bacon a little crispier, turn on the broiler for a short time, but watch closely. These can be made ahead of time. Reheat at 350° for 5 minutes. |
