| Directions | In a bowl, mash strawberries and stir in sugar. Let stand 4 hours. In a heavy saucepan, pour in strawberry mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring, and boil 10 minutes. Stir in package of strawberry jello. Return to a boil, remove from heat, let sit 5 minutes. Ladle jam into sterilized jars or pour into plastic containers. Refrigerate or freeze jam until ready to use. |
