| Directions | Stir lime and water together. Slice cucumbers and put in lime water for 24 hours. Drain and wash. Put in ice water and ice cubes to last 3 hours. Drain. Mix vinegar, sugar, salt and pickling spice and put over cucumbers. Let stand overnight. Next morning bring to boil and boil for 40 minutes. Put in canning jars. Put a stick of cinnamon in each jar and seal. |
