(Any meat you can grill can be used in this recipe) Preheat oven to 350 Salt and pepper meat and lightly brown in an oven safe pot or roaster. While your meat is browning, mix together the rest of the ingredients together. Pour Mixture over browned meat. If you don't have enough mixture tocover meat, mix another batch and add to meat to cover. Cover pot and place in oven for 30 minutes. Check periodically for tenderness.Reduce temperature to 275, remove lid and cook for another 45 min 1 hour. Check for sauce to thicken and for meat to be tender but still moist. Once sauce reduces and meat is very tender, remove and serveor finish on grill to caramelize sauce. I use boneless meats and/or ribs. They will melt in your mouth!!!
-1/4 cup water
-1/4 cup Oil (your preference)
-3 tablespoons vinegar
-3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
-3 tablespoons Worcestershire
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-1/4 ketchup
-1 onion, chopped (small)
- Pepper
- Garlic
-1 bottle Guiness (Optional)
-1 teaspoon liquid smoke
