In a heavy sauce pan, over medium heat, bring cream and butter to a bare simmer. Remove from the burner, but keep warm. Heat a large serving bowl for tossing the noodles. Pour in the cream-butter mixture. Add the cooked drained noodles, cheese, salt, and pepper. Toss gently until noodles are coated and serve immediately.
Note: Can substitute skim milk for cream and light butter for regular.
