| Directions | On each of the 4 slices of bread, place 1 slice of Swiss cheese, baked ham, cooked turkey, and brick cheese. Top each with a second slice of bread and secure each sandwich with 4 toothpicks (you may trim crusts ,if desired) and cut into halves. In a shallow dish, beat together eggs,milk and salt. Dip sandwiches into egg-milk mixture, turning to coat evenly. Melt 2 tablespoons margarine in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saut 4 sandwich halves in margarine, turning as necessary until golden brown on all sides. Remove and drain on paper towels;remove toothpicks. Repeat with remaining margarine and sandwich halves to serve, sprinkle with confectioners sugar or serve with jam or jelly. |
