| | Directions | | Melt butter; blend in flour and gradually add milk. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add a little of hot mixture to egg and mix well. Stir into remaining hot mixture and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients and mix lightly. Chill thoroughly. Shape into croquettes and arrange in greased shallow baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, until lightly browned. Serves 4. |
