Strawberry Gin Cocktail - Recipe

Basil adds just the touch of something that makes this drink so delicious. Not too sweet, this cocktail is refreshing and is too easily empty!

Directions

Lightly mash strawberries, basil leaves and sugar together.

Place in cocktail shaker with 1 cup ice. Put other cup of ice into 2 tall glasses. Add gin and lemon juice to the cocktail shaker, and shake until outside of shaker is frosted.

Pour or strain into the 2 glasses and top with club soda.

-		4 teaspoons white sugar
-		2 cups ice cubes
-		4 ounces gin
-		2 ounces lemon juice
-		6 ounces club soda, chilled
