A minor red grape varietal, primarily found in Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines produced in the Rhône region of France. The Terret Noir is most commonly seen in its Blanc and Gris forms.

Characteristics: Most often used as a blending agent to create wines with bright acidity and provides balance for low-acid red varietals in the Rhône region of France.
