Hi! This is Laurie from RecipeTips.com. Today I am going to show you an easy way to keep your foods chilled for a buffet or picnic. Decide what kind of container you want to serve your food item in and then just simply place and icepack in the bottom of it or you can use a Ziploc bag full of ice cubes or you can also fill a Ziploc full of water and freeze it overnight so it is a solid piece of ice. Then just take a tea towel and lay it in the bottom of over the icepack; then just place your food item on top of the icepack and it will keep it chilled while serving. If you would rather not have it in a container and want to serve it right on the table, just take your ice bag, cover it with a tea towel, and your food can sit directly on top on the buffet table.
