Hi! This is Laurie from RecipeTips.com. Today, we are going to be making chocolate drop pretzels. To start, line your cookie sheet with either parchment or wax paper. Either one will work. And, begin laying out your pretzels onto the cookie sheet. You want to use a ring pretzel; the smaller the ring the better, but you can use any holiday shape. The next step is to unwrap either Hershey chocolate kisses or hugs, and place them into the center of the pretzel ring. Place the pretzels in a two hundred degree preheated oven. And, you want to start with thirty-second intervals. Leave them in just until the chocolate starts to melt, and you can tell because they get a little droopy. Keep an eye on them; you do not want to overcook them. After you remove them from the oven, put a holiday M and M on top. Once you have all the M and Ms on, allow the pretzels to completely cool on the cookie sheet, and then place the whole cookie sheet in the freezer for approximately fifteen minutes, just so that they firm up. These chocolate drop pretzels are perfect for the holidays and fun to make with the kids. For more great recipe ideas, visit RecipeTips.com.
