  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 6 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 4 rib eye steaks
Directions
  • In a small bowl, combine first seven ingredients; mix well to blend.
  • Poke steaks with a fork to allow marinade to soak into steaks. Place steaks in a reseable bag. Pour marinade into bag.
  • Seal and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place steaks directly on grill. Cook for approximately 6 minutes; flip steaks and cook for another 5-6 minutes or until the steaks reach your desired doneness.

  • Clean potatoes and cut in half. Place on baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, lemon juice and salt.
  • Pour mixture over potatoes, stir to coat. Top with parmesan cheese.
  • Cover sheet with foil. Bake covered for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10-15 minutes longer, until light golden brown and tender.

  • 1 package frozen strawberries (10 ounce pkg)

  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped (optional)
Directions
Empty Jello into large bowl and dissolve in boiling water.

Add partly thawed strawberries and bananas. Refrigerate until almost firm.

Pour 1/2 of mixture into dish or casserole and spread layer of sour cream over mixture. Pour remaining Jello mixture over sour cream. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

If desired, sprinkle nuts just before serving.

  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, or to desired taste
Directions
  • Preheat oven to 375° F (350° F for a 12" Dutch oven).
  • Cut broccoli florets leaving a portion of the stem with each floret. Place in baking dish or 12" Dutch oven.
  • Coat broccoli with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt. Place the cover on the baking dish or cover with foil.
  • Place covered dish in the oven and cook for 20-30 minutes. Check for doneness after 15 minutes to be sure you do not overcook the broccoli. It should be crisp-tender when done. Cooking time will vary depending on the amount of broccoli and your personal taste.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to serving dish.
NOTE: This is the easiest side dish to make and I have people devouring large quantities who say they would never touch broccoli. Be sure when you are adding the garlic salt to use your own judgment on how much to use. That will also depend on how much broccoli you are actually preparing.

Directions
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown beef, onion and green pepper. Cook until beef is not longer pink; drain.

Add taco seasoning, enchilada sauce and chili powder to meat. Stir to combine.

In a casserole dish, layer tortillas, meat mixture and cheeses. Repeat until all meat mixture has been used.

Bake in 350 degree F oven until warmed through and cheese has melted, approximately 25 minutes.

  • Heat butter and chocolate in a saucepan over medium low heat, stirring until all is melted.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together flour, sugar, cinnamon, and chipotle chile pepper.
  • Add sugar mixture to the melted chocolate and butter mixture, stir to combine.
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Turn off the heat and add chocolate chips.
  • Pour mixture into a prepared baking pan.
  • Bake until the center is set, 35-40 minutes.
  • Cool completely and garnish if desired, with a dusting of powdered sugar. Cut into small squares and serve.

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken, chopped

Directions
  • Heat oil in saucepan, add onion, garlic and chopped celery, and saute for about 5 minutes or until vegetable are soft.
  • Add drained beans, chili powder, cumin, oregano, red pepper flakes, tomatoes, drained green chilis and enough chicken broth to cover beans.
  • Bring to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer until beans begin to soften, about 1 hour.
  • In another skillet, saute the meat (chicken or turkey) over high heat in 2 tsp of oil, until no longer pink about 5 to 7 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • When beans have cooked, add the sauteed chicken and simmer 20 minutes longer.
  • Set out garnishes (shredded cheese, sour cream, etc.) in separate bowls. Ladle chili into bowls, and let guests add garnishes to taste

  • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak
  • 4 teaspoons McCormick® Grill Mates® Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1 medium onion, sliced crosswise into 1/2-inch thick slices
  • 1 red or yellow bell pepper, cut into 2-inch wide strips
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon olive oil, divided
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
  • 1 pound fresh pizza dough o frozen dough, thawed %3cu%3eor%3c/u%3e 1 prepared thin pizza crust (12-inch)
Directions
1. Sprinkle both sides of steak with 3 teaspoons of the Montreal Steak Seasoning. Brush vegetables with 1 teaspoon of the oil. Grill steak over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Grill vegetables 6 to 8 minutes or until tender-crisp. Cut steak and vegetables into bite-size pieces. Mix cheese and remaining 1 teaspoon Seasoning in small bowl.

2. Stretch or roll pizza dough on floured baking sheet to a 12- to 14-inch round, about 1/4-inch thick. Brush top of dough with remaining 1 tablespoon oil. Place oiled-side down on the grill. Close lid. Grill over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes or until grill marks appear on the bottom of the crust. Carefully flip crust over using tongs or spatula.

3. Layer crust with 1/2 of the cheese, grilled steak, vegetables and remaining cheese. Close lid. Grill 3 to 4 minutes longer or until cheese is melted and crust is browned. (Check pizza often to avoid burning. Rotate pizza, if necessary.) Slide pizza onto baking sheet. Slice and serve immediately.

Variation: Prepare as directed, using Grill Mates® Mesquite Seasoning in place of the Montreal Steak Seasoning.

  • Pizza dough may be purchased from the prepared deli or dairy section of the supermarket. If frozen, thaw dough in refrigerator.

 

  • For ease in stretching or rolling, let dough stand at room temperature 1 to 2 hours.

  • 1 pound French bread - plain or seasoned
  • 8 tablespoons to 12 tablespoons of butter or margarine, softened (use more if needed)
  • Garlic salt
Directions
  • Slice the bread into 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick slices.
  • Butter each side generously with the softened butter.
  • Lay buttered slices on a baking sheet and sprinkle the tops lightly with garlic salt.
  • Place under the broiler in your oven until lightly toasted on top.
  • Turn the slices over once the tops are toasted and toast the bottom side.
  • Remove from the baking sheet when they are toasted on both sides.
  • Serve and enjoy!
Note: As you are toasting the bread, the slices will not toast evenly so watch closely and take the baking sheet out and turn the slices as they get done on one side. Remove them from the pan as they get toasted on both sides. They toast pretty quickly under the broiler once they get started so be sure to watch them closely so they do not burn.

  • 1 large white onion - sliced thinly lengthwise
Directions
  • Spray baking pan lightly.
  • Cut each breast into 3 strips, may need to lightly pound to flatten.
  • Place cheese cube at one end of a strip, roll up and secure with a toothpick.
  • Pour olive oil in one bowl, bread crumbs in another.
  • Dip chicken in olive oil on all sides then in breadcrumbs.
  • Place in baking pan.
  • Top with bay leaves and sliced onions.
  • Bake 20-30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked and cheese has melted. Some cheese may melt out the sides of the roll ups.
  • Serve warm.

  • 3 cups long grain rice
  • 1 cup spaghetti noodles, broken into very short strands
  • 4 tablespoons instant chicken bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons tarragon

  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Place rice and noodles in a bowl and stir until evenly distributed. Divide evenly into 3 1-pint air-tight containers.

Combine the seasonings in a small bowl, mix well. Divide evenly into 3 small zipper bags. Place one seasoning packet into each of the containers of rice and noodle mixture.

TO PREPARE: In a saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons butter over medium-high heat. Add one rice and noodle mixture; stir until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes.   • 1 cup celery
  • 3 cups raw broccoli, chopped
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • DRESSING:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
Directions
Combine all the salad ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Then make the dressing; pour over the salad mixture and stir. Best if you let sit after putting on the salad.

Pistachio Bundt Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • CAKE:
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package instant pistachio pudding mix - small package
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • FROSTING:
  • 1 package instant pistachio pudding mix - small package
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
CAKE:
  • Grease and flour the bottom and sides of a Bundt pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place all the cake ingredients, except for the walnuts, in a large mixing bowl and beat on low for 30 seconds.
  • Beat on medium speed for an additional 2 minutes and then stir in the chopped walnuts.
  • Pour into the prepared Bundt pan. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or when a toothpick poked in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing and cooling completely on a cooling rack.
FROSTING:
  • Add all the frosting ingredients, except for the chopped walnuts, in a medium mixing bowl and beat until the frosting forms stiff peaks.
  • Spread the frosting on the cake and then sprinkle with the chopped walnuts.
  • Store in the refrigerator.
