  • 1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Salt Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Black Pepper, Ground
  • 1 pound tilapia fillets
Directions

1. Mix butter, lemon juice, Seasoning, onion powder and pepper in small bowl until well blended.

 

2. Place fish on broiler pan. Brush butter mixture over fish.

 

3. Broil 10 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Test Kitchen Tip: Substitute red snapper, striped bass, flounder or sole for the tilapia.

  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Directions
In a bowl, combine the broccoli, soup, cubed cheese and rice. Transfer to a greased baking dish.

Toss bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over top.

Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes; uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.

NOTE: 2 cups cooked converted rice can be used instead of the instant rice.

  • 1 box Devil's food cake mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon rum extract
  • 12 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup instant coffee granules
  • 1/3 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, grated
Directions
Preheat oven to 325° F. Grease and flour 2 8-inch pans.

Prepare cake mix according to package directions, pour into prepared pans, spreading evenly. Bake 40-45 minutes, using the toothpick test for cake doneness. Cool 15 minutes; remove from pans and cool completely.

In medium bowl, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar, whisking until smooth. Whisk in sour cream and rum extract. Reserve 1 cup of the whipped topping for garnish. Fold remaining whipped topping into cream cheese mixture.

In small bowl, combine sugar, coffee and boiling water, stirring until dissolved.

Place one cake layer on serving platter. Brush half of the coffee mixture over bottom cake layer using a pastry brush. Spread with half of the cream cheese mixture. Grate half of the chocolate morsels over cream cheese layer.

Carefully top with second cake layer brush with remaining coffee mixture. Spread with remaining cream cheese mixture. Decorate cake by piping with reserved whipped topping.

Garnish with chocolate swirls and more grated chocolate, if desired.

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni (could substitute other pasta)
  • 1 1/2 cups salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 6 hard boiled eggs - cooled and peeled
Directions
  • Cook the macaroni as directed on package; drain and rinse with cold water to stop it from cooking more.
  • While macaroni is cooking, mix the salad dressing, milk, onion salt, pepper, and sugar together; stir until well mixed.
  • Remove the yolks from the eggs and put in a separate bowl; set the whites aside.
  • Mash the yolks and then add to the dressing mixture. Stir until well mixed.
  • Slice the egg whites with an egg slicer and add to the dressing and egg yolk mixture. If you don't have an egg slicer just slice them into pieces with a knife.
  • Add the macaroni and stir the entire mixture together until evenly mixed.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Note: This salad can be made a day ahead of time. If salad seems a little dry you can add a little more salad dressing to moisten.

  • 1 can tomato sauce (16 ounce can)
  • 1 can tomato paste (6 ounce can)
  • 1 pound Mozzarella cheese
  • 10 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
Directions
In a large skillet, brown hamburger; drain.

Add seasonings, sauce and paste. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring throughout.

While browning hamburger start water for noodles; boil and drain.

In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, salt and pepper.

Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Place half of noodles in bottom of pan, 3 across works well. Top with a layer of cheese mix, mozzarella, then meat mixture. Repeat layers one or two more times. Sprinkle mozzarella on top.

Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.

IMPORTANT: Allow to stand 10 minutes before cutting.

NOTES: Freshly grated parmesan and freshly shredded mozzarella are the best way to go, but store bought saves a lot of time.

    • Place meat into a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over the top.
    • Place bag into a shallow pan to catch any drippings that might leak from the bag.
    • Place in the refrigerator for three hours to marinate.
    • Remove from the refrigerator and allow to stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour.
    • Preheat grill to high. Grill steaks for 6-8 minutes on the first side, then flip the steaks and continue to grill for another 4-6 minutes or until the flank steak reaches your desired doneness.
    • Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes so the juices redistribute.
    • Cut the flank steak against the grain for maximum tenderness.

    Reduce heat of oven to 350 degrees F.

    In large skillet, heat chicken, onion, sour cream, parsley, oregano and pepper over medium heat. Add cheese, stirring until it melts.

    • 12 unpeeled potatoes, baked (medium)
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
    • 2 pounds bacon, cooked and crumbled
    • 4 cups sour cream
    • 3 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
    • 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
    Directions
    • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the bottom and sides of the baking dish.
    • Cut baked potatoes into 1" cubes. Place half of the cubed potatoes in the prepared baking dish.
    • Sprinkle with half of the salt, pepper and bacon. Top with half of the sour cream and carefully spread out evenly. Sprinkle half of the cheeses over the sour cream.
    • Repeat layers.
    • Bake, uncovered, in preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until the cheese is melted and nicely browned.

    • 4 cups cabbage - chopped
    • 1 cup carrot - grated
    • 1/2 cup red onions - diced

    • 1 cup milk
    • 6 tablespoons Swiss cheese - shredded

    • 2 tablespoons parsley - minced
    • salt and pepper - to taste
    • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese - shredded
    Directions
    • Spray a large skillet with non stick cooking spray.
    • Add the cabbage, carrots and onions to the skillet.
    • Sautee the vegetables until softened, approximately 10 minutes.
    • Pour the vegetables into a 2 quart casserole dish.
    • In a small mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, seasoning salt, parsely and swiss cheese.
    • Stir to combine and then pour it over the vegetables.
    • Salt and pepper to taste.

    • 2 packages strawberry Jell-O (3 ounce pkgs)
    • 2 cups water
    • 1 can crushed pineapple with juice (20 oz. can)
    • 1 package frozen strawberries (10 ounce pkg)
    • 2 bananas, diced
    • 8 ounces sour cream
    Directions
    Dissolve jello in hot water; let set until just begins to jell.

    Add bananas, pineapple and strawberries. Pour 1/2 of the ingredients in 8x12 inch dish. Refrigerate to let jell.

    Spread sour cream over all. Pour remainder of jello over sour cream. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

    • 15 ounces 9
    • 3 pounds cooking apples, or 6 cups sliced apples
    • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (may use freshly grated nutmeg)
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons corn starch
    • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
    Directions
    • Preheat oven to 425º F.
    • Peel, core, and slice apples in 1/2" to 3/4" thick slices and place in a large bowl.
    • Mix cinnamon, sugar, cornstarch, and nutmeg together and sprinkle over the apples.
    • Place 1 crust in bottom of pie tin, overlapping the edges of pie tin.
    • Pour sliced apples mixture on crust. Dot apple mixture with butter. Cover apples with remaining crust.
    • Crimp the top crust to the bottom crust. Cut approximately 6 slits in top crust.
    • To prevent crimped crust from over browning, cover crimped edges with aluminum foil.
    • Place pie pan on cookie sheet and place in oven. Bake 50-60 minutes or until crust is golden in color and apples are soft.
    • Serve warm or cold with your favorite topping.
    Note: To dot with butter, cut butter into small pieces and sprinkle over pie filling.
