Day 1

Dinner:

Moms Potato Cakes

Ever wonder what to do with those leftover mashed potatoes instead of shepherd's pie? Try frying them up. They are a perfect side dish for pork or poultry. A simple pan sauce is great served on these.
Turkey Tenderloins

Grilled turkey tenderloins are perfect to entertain with. The marinade these are in have a hint of Asian flavor and keep the turkey moist and tender. This marinade would also be wonderful on chicken.
Stir Fried Broccoli

You'll be pleasantly surprised at the flavor of this broccoli. The sugar and salt create a light sauce that is hard to beat. So simple, yet so good. This is especially nice for a side dish to other Chinese meat dishes.
Simple Apple Crisp

Tender apples topped with a crunchy oatmeal and brown sugar topping. Perfect in the fall served warm next to vanilla ice cream. Recipe can easily be doubled and baked in a 9x13 inch pan.

This pumpkin bread is moist, decadent and has a beautiful holiday flavor. It is perfect as a dessert, at a brunch or warmed up as a comforting afternoon snack.

Dinner:

Yummy Chicken Taquitos

Delicious appetizer or entree. Flour tortillas will hold their shape better but corn tortillas, despite the way they look, taste so much better. Serve them with some salsa.
Perfect Tacos

A perfect weeknight meal that the kids will enjoy. Serve it beside a Mexican rice for your own fiesta. Ole!
Simple Mexican Rice

You won't believe that this recipe would taste so good but it actually does! The leftovers are even better the next day. This is an inexpensive way to make rice and it is healthier than the boxes rices that are packed full with sodium.

We always have it at Thanksgiving. My grandma always used to make it, and then I continued making it. I love it because it is so good, I can never get enough of it.

Dinner:

Golden Chicken Nuggets

Do you know whats in those frozen pre-made chicken nuggets? Try making your own and see how easy it is. The kids will love it and they can even help out!
Sweet Potato Fries

Baked in the oven, these roasted sweet potatoes are just as good as the deep fried ones. The oil caramelized them a little and the sugars start to some out as they bake.
