Zucchini Recipes

"The cylindrical variety zucchini are similar to cucumbers in color and shape but have an off-white flesh whereas a cucumber has light green flesh. Zucchini can be grilled, fried, sautéed, steamed and baked. They are eaten as a side dish on their own or as an ingredient in casseroles, soups, and appetizers. They can also be stuffed with meat and vegetables, and then baked for a light summer meal.

Although zucchini is often used for a savory dish, it is also popular to use it to make some tasty desserts. Zucchini makes delicious breads, brownies, and cakes. Zucchini can also be shredded and frozen to use in baking recipes throughout the year."

"I wish I would have found this group of recipes a couple of months ago when I had zucchini coming out of my ears! Some of them look really good. I froze some so maybe I can make one of the zucchini breads, or cake recipes. Will have to bookmark this for next year."
