Ingredients
  • 2 loaves bread - torn
  • 1 pound ground hot sausage
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup celery - chopped
  • 1/2 cup onions - chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • handful poultry seasoning
  • handful sage

  • Tear bread into small pieces and leave out overnight.
  • Finely chop celery and onions.
  • Sautee celery and onions in frying pan with 1/4 cup of butter.
  • Add 1 lb. of ground hot sausage to sauteed vegetables. Brown sausage until fully cooked.
  • Add handful of sage and poultry seasoning to torn bread in large mixing bowl.
  • Add in sausage, celery, and onion mixture to the mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with your hands.
  • Add in 1 cup of chicken broth until mixture is moist and firm (add a little water if your bread is still dry).
  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degree and cook for 40-45 minutes.
