Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • FROSTING:
  • 3 tablespoons butter , softened
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter for the brownie batter. Remove from heat; stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Beat in remaining batter ingredients. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 22-25 being careful not to overcook.
  • For the frosting, combine all the frosting ingredients and mix until creamy.
  • Frost brownies while they are still warm.
