Mom's Famous Pumpkin Pie Recipe

  • 1 sugar
  • 1/2 salt
  • 1 1/2 cinnamon
  • 1/2 nutmeg
  • 1/2 ginger
  • 1/2 allspice
  • 1/2 cloves
  • 1 1/2 pumpkin (or 15 oz. can of pumpkin)
  • 1 2/3 evaporated milk (12 oz. can)
  • 2 eggs
  • 9-inch single pie shell, unbaked
Container: 9-inch pie plate
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Mix filling ingredients until smooth. Pour in unbaked pie shell.
  • Bake 15 minutes. Lower temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking about 35 minutes or until custard is firm.
  • Cool on a wire rack.
