Sausage-Vegetable Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound bulk Italian or pork sausage
  • 1 package Betty Crocker Scalloped Potatoes
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 large onions, sliced
Directions
Cook and stir sausage in 4-quart Dutch oven until brown. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender, 20 minutes.
This chowder is easy to complete and is enjoyed by all ages.
