Cilantro!!! I grow this wonderful herb in my garden. When I want to BBQ I chop the cilantro with garlic, oil, lemon or lime juice, salt and pepper, and make a paste or marinade. Rub it on chicken, shrimp kabobs, even vegetables. It’s a wonderful and unique taste and a change from the usual BBQ fare. Something different!!!!
Directions
Chop the cilantro and garlic; squeeze juice from the lemon or lime; combine all ingredients and make a paste or marinade. Rub it on the chicken, shrimp kabobs, even vegetables. Let it sit for a few hours or even overnight and then grill as usual.
Ingredients
-
1 bunch cilantro
-
clove garlic
-
1/2 cup olive oil
-
1 lemon or lime
-
1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
