Sticky Chicken Sticks Recipe

Strips of chicken breasts or thighs marinated in a citrus ginger marinade.

Servings: 2-3 sticks per person dependng if appetizer or entree
  • 2 pounds chicken slicked into thick strips
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled and minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger minced
  • 3 tablespoons white wine
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 each juices of lemon
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds (optional)
  • lemon for garnish
  • salt and pepper to season meat
Container: bowl or pan for marinade

Combine all ingredients except sesame seeds and chicken. Mix together well. Add chicken to marinade. Marinade over night if possible. Put on skewers, Grill on med high heat for 8-12 minutes turning once until juices run clear. Can also be broiled and reheat on grill. Roll n toasted sesame seeds while still hot. Goes great with a peanut dipping sauce. Use lots of napkins.
