Sweet 'N Sour Pork Recipe

  • 1 pound pork steak - cubed
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits (20 ounce can)
  • 1 onion - chopped
  • 1 can Chinese vegetables
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
In large pot simmer pork, onion, and bouillon in water for 1-1 1/2 hours. Drain vegetables and pineapple, saving the pineapple juice. Add vegetables and pineapple to meat. In a sauce pan boil brown sugar, vinegar, corn starch, soy sauce, and pineapple juice until it turns clear. Add sauce to meat. If meat starts to become dry while cooking add water. Serve over rice.
