Marinated Turkey or Chicken Recipe

  • 3 pounds turkey or chicken cut into 3 inch tenders
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 - 12 ounce can 7 up or sprite
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon horseradish
  • 4 bacon slices quartered
12'' Dutch Oven

Mix together all ingredients EXCEPT bacon. Marinate turkey or chicken tenders for 24 hours. With 12 coals on the top and 14 on the bottom. Cook 4 slices of bacon. Add meat and cook until done, stirring occasionally to keep turkey or chicken evenly cooked.
