Baked Sandwich Recipe

  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 3 milk
  • 1/2 dry mustard
  • 1/2 Salt
  • 16 bread
  • 8 Old English cheese
  • 8 baked ham
  • 1 oleo
  • 1 corn flakes (topping)
Remove crust from bread. Butter bottom sides of bread and place side by side on 9 x 13 pan. Place 1 slice cheese and 1 slice of ham on bread and top with another slice of bread. Combine beaten eggs, milk, dry mustard and salt and pour over entire bread mixture. Place in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking. Combine corn flakes and oleo and sprinkle over bread mixture. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.

Note: Keep pan high in oven as bottom browns quickly.
