Chicken Wings in BBQ sauce Recipe

  • 3 pounds chicken wings, 16 wings
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Tabasco to taste
Rinse chicken and pat dry. Cut off and discard wing tips. Sprinkle wings with salt and pepper and place on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches away from heat for 20 minutes, turning once during the middle of broiling. Transfer chicken to slow cooker. Combine in a separate bowl, the BBQ sauce, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce. Pour over chicken and cover cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
