Pot Roast 11 Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 pounds boneless beef pot roast
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 potatoes, cut inch small pieces (medium)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 envelopes Lipton Onion Soup Mix
In large skillet, heat oil and brown roast. In a slow cooker, arrange vegetables, place meat on top. Combine Soup mix with water and add to slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 5 hours. Remove meat and vegetables to serving dish. To thicken gravy, stir in 1/4 cup water blended with 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour. Cook on HIGH until thickens.

Pour gravy over meat and vegetables. Serve hot.
