Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground chicken breast
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced green chilies (small can)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Cook chicken, onion, celery and green pepper until chicken is not longer pink.

Add garlic and green chilies and cook for 1 minute.

Add chicken broth, beans, cumin and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.

Simmer on low for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

"Great chicken chili recipe! I used chili beans, which scared me slightly as I usually use white beans, but it tasted great. I always stir in sour cream and cheddar cheese in my bowl. Perfect when it's getting chilly outside."
