Beef Tips 5 Recipe

  • 2 pounds meat, steak or roast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning (white pepper)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced (medium)
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, sliced
  • 9 ounces mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup water
Cut meat into 1/2-inch cubes while still slightly frozen. Sprinkle garlic powder, steak seasoning, salt and black pepper over all of meat. Brown meat at medium heat in vegetable oil. Cut onion into thin slices; break apart and add to meat when meat starts to brown. Add green pepper and mushrooms to meat. In a separate container, mix flour and 1/2 cup of water to make gravy. Add flour and water mixture to meat. Add 1/2 cup of water to meat while cooking, if needed, and cook to desired brownness.
