SARDINE AND CREAM CHEESE SPREAD Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package cream cheese, room temperature (large pkg)
  • 1 can sardines inch light oil, lightly drained
  • 1 loaf cocktail rye or pumpernickel
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced and chopped
Directions
In bowl, combine sardines, and cream cheese, pepper. Mash and mix together, until mixture forms a paste. Spread on cocktail rounds, top with diced onion.
