MEATBALL STEW 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound small white Onions or 1 15 ounce jar
  • 6 Carrots
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup Uncooked Rice
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cans Tomato Sauce with Mushrooms (8 ounce cans)
  • 1/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 3/4 cup water
Directions
Cook onions and carrots until almost tender. Set aside

Mix beef, egg, 1/3 cup rice, seasonings and 1/2 can tomato sauce with mushrooms. Heat oil in skillet and drop meat mixture by tablespoons into oil and brown.

Add 1/4 cup rice, remaining tomato sauce and water.

Drain vegetables and add.

Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
