Baked Lemon Pork Chops Recipe

  • 6 pork rib, loin or shoulder chops, cut 3/4 inch thick
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 lemon slices
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
Brown chops in heavy frying pan. Season with salt and pepper. Place a lemon slice on each chop. Combine ketchup, water, and brown sugar and pour over chops. Cover closely and cook slowly on top of range or in a moderate oven 350° for about 45 minutes or until meat is done.
