• 5 pounds sirloin tip roast, slice thin
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
Mix all of the spices together, pour over meat which has been placed in a cooking bag. Bake in 350 oven for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours. Baste frequently by turning roasting bag. Last 30 minutes cut strings or meat. If you prefer the beef more spicy, ad one small jar of pepperoncini peppers and juice.
