SAUCY STEAK SKILLET Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound round steak cut into strips
  • 1/4 Call-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon canola or olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped (large)
  • 2 russet potatoes cut inch large rings (medium)
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Coat steak pieces with flour, pound into beef, then brown in oil (I use electric skillet). Push beef to side and cook onions until tender, then drain. Mix beef broth, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, marjoram and pepper. Pour over beef. Heat to boiling, reduced heat, cover and cook about 45 minutes. Add potatoes, again heat to boiling, reduce heat cover and-cook for additional 45 minutes.
