BAKED IOWA CHOPS Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 Iowa chops, 1 1/4 inch thick (large)
  • 2 cups sauerkraut
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons caraway seed
Directions
Brown chops. Mix together rest ingredients. Layer 9x12 inch baking dish with half of the applesauce mix. Add the chops, then cover with the other half of applesauce mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender.
