Potato Hot Dish Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds frozen hash browns (chunky, southern style)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour Cream
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
Directions
Defrost potatoes in a 9x13 pan. Pour melted butter over the potatoes. Combine onions, soup, sour cream, salt and pepper (warm in kettle or the microwave). Pour over potatoes. Spread cheddar cheese on top.

TOPPING: 1 cup crushed potato chips and 1/4 cup melted butter. Mix together and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° degrees for 45 minutes.
