Slow Cooker French Dip Recipe

  • 4 pounds rump roast
  • 1 can beef broth (10.5 ounce can)
  • 1 can condensed French onion soup (10.5 ounce can)
  • 1 can beer (12 ounce can)
  • 6 french rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 slices cheese of choice (optional)
Trim fat from the roast, and place in a slow cooker. Add the beef broth, soup and beer. Cook on low for approximately 7 hours.

Preheat the oven to 350°. Slice rolls, spread with butter and top with cheese. Bake 10 minutes or until heated and cheese is melted. Thinly slice the meat and place on rolls. Serve with the sauce for dipping.
