MACARONI & CHEESE 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Bring a pot full of water to a boil. Cook macaroni until soft. Drain well. In same pot used to cook macaroni, melt butter over low heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Add milk, bring to a boil and cook until thickened, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn. Add cheese and whisk until smooth and cheese is melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Dump macaroni back into pot with cheese sauce and stir until macaroni is coated. Serves 5 hungry, growing girls. You could add peas, chopped, cooked ham or hot dogs for a complete meal.

NOTE: As easy as the blue box but tastes better.
