Shrimp Stuffed Jalapenos Recipe

Ingredients
  • 24 jalapenos
  • 24 raw shrimp, deveined, peeled (small)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 package mushrooms, chopped
  • 12 slices bacon
Directions
Cut the stem end off jalapenos; clean out the seeds and veins.

Mix cream cheese and chopped mushrooms. Stuff the pepper about 1/3 full of mix.

Insert shrimp. Cover jalapeno across the top with bacon. Insert toothpicks to secure bacon and to elevate front of pepper. Cover cookie sheet with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

VARIATION: This can also be done on the grill.
