Ingredients
  • 2 pounds pork loin, boneless
  • 1 can root beer (12 ounce can)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 package buns

Place pork loin in slow cooker, cover with root beer and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until pork shreds easily, drain well.

Stir in BBQ sauce and cook until warmed through.

Serve on toasted buns, if desired.

"I used a can of Pepsi instead of Root Beer, just because we didn't have any. I liked that the the meat wasn't swimming in the barbecue sauce. Very tasty! I drained some of the liquid, but kept about 1 cup to mix with the barbecue sauce. Delicious!"
