Homemade Granola 5 Recipe

  • 4 cups oats (NOT quick-cook or instant)
  • 1 1/2 cups almonds
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 300°F.

Mix oats, almonds, flax seeds, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.

In a saucepan, warm oil and honey. Whisk in vanilla extract.

Pour honey, oil and vanilla mixture over oat mixture and mix gently, but well.

Spread out onto a sheet pan and bake for 40 minutes. Stir often the first 20 minutes.

Cool and break up any clumps. Enjoy!
