Prime Rib Recipe

Ingredients
  • 7 1/2 pounds roast
  • Au Jus
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Dales
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire (add to taste)
Directions
Heat oven to 450. If prime rib is not seasoned, sprinkle with salt, pepper, minced garlic, ginger, and mustard powder. Sear all sides in hot skillet. Place on rack, in shallow pan, with fat side up. Insert meat thermometer in thickest part of meat, but do not rest on bone. Roast at 450 for 30 minutes. Then reduce heat to 325 and roast another 2 hours. Interior should be 155 for medium rare.
